Investment Risk Warnings
Investment in any scheme described should only be made on the basis of a
full comprehension of the applicable offer document (e.g. Prospectus or
other Terms and Conditions). The information contained on this website
is not to be reproduced, copied or made available to others. Any
research or analysis used in the preparation of this website has been
procured by the Company for its own use and it may have been acted on by
the Company for its own purposes.
You should be aware that past performance is no guarantee of future
performance. The price of investments and the income from them can fall
as well as rise and may be affected by exchange rate movements between
currencies. An investor may not get back the original amount invested.
Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the information contained in
this website is accurate and up to date, some of the information may be
rendered inaccurate by changes in applicable laws and regulations. For
example, the levels and bases of taxation may change. Any reference to
taxation relies upon information currently in force.
Warrants involve a high degree of gearing and, therefore, volatility.
This means that a relatively small movement in the price of a security
to which a warrant relates may result in a disproportionately large
movement, favorable as well as unfavorable, in the value of the warrant.
You should not invest in warrants unless you understand the extent of
your exposure to potential loss which may involve some or all of your
initial investment.
Unquoted investments may be difficult to sell at a reasonable price
because there will not be an active market in those investments and, in
some circumstances, they may be difficult to sell at any price. This may
inhibit sales in the event of your wishing to liquidate part or all of
your existing investment.
Property is an asset class which can be difficult to sell, which means
that you may not be able to sell the investment when you want and we may
have to delay acting on your instructions to sell. The value of property
is generally a matter of a valuer's opinion rather than fact.
MORE
Full details on specific risk associated with any investments are
detailed in the relevant Prospectus or Terms and Conditions and are
available on request.

Complaint Handling Procedures – Guidance for Clients
In accordance with regulations,
CFI
is required to have procedures on the handling of complaints received
from clients. As part of the requirements, we are also obliged to inform
a client of those procedures in the event that a client should express
any dissatisfaction with services provided by
CFI.
The following points provide an outline of
CFI’s
complaint handling procedures.
Upon receipt of any expression of dissatisfaction
communicated by a client, whether orally or in writing,
CFI
will acknowledge
in writing such communication within five business days.
Should the initial response not resolve the issue,
CFI
will provide either a holding response or a final response within four
weeks of receipt of the client’s original communication of
dissatisfaction.
MORE
A holding response will explain why there is a delay and
when the client can next expect to receive contact which will be no
later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of the client’s
original communication of dissatisfaction.
Any additional holding response sent within the eight
week period will advise why there is a further delay and when a final
response can be expected. The response will include an
information leaflet on the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) and will
advise the client of their right to contact the FOS if they feel
dissatisfied with the delay.
A final response will inform the client that they can
contact the FOS if still dissatisfied and that they must make contact
with
the FOS within six months of
CFI’s
final response. A FOS leaflet will be enclosed if not previously sent to
the client.
Compensation
A statement is available from
CFI
explaining your rights to compensation under the Financial Services
Compensation Scheme, if
CFI
is unable to meet its liabilities.
